Inktober at Barry Fine Arts Day One

Barry McMahon has created the first in a month-long series of ink drawings as part of a challenge called Inktober. The challenge was first brought to the attention of Barry Fine Arts by Violet McMahon, the youngest of Barry’s children. While there are many different views on how Inktober should be carried out, we at BFA have set ONLY one rule, the drawings must be made with ink on paper, no mixed media.

John Vieno has created his first ink drawing as part of Inktober. We at BFA have come to know and love John’s ink work from his thoroughly engaging sketchbook work. He’s going to have to suppress the urge to slap tape and add paint, but we’re looking forward to a month of delights!
